A city noted for golf tournaments, the historic 1846 Blandwood Villa is America’s oldest Italianate villa and the former home of NC Governor John Motley Morehead is open for tours. For art, there is the Green Hill Center for North Carolina Art at 200 N. Davie Street and its extensive exhibitions of works of art by NC artists. And of course, an NC icon and a must see for the car enthusiast is the Richard Petty Museum just south of Greensboro at 142 W. Academy Street in Randleman, NC.
